The diocesan-level Cherupushpa Mission League (CML) activity year was grandly inaugurated at St. Joseph Forane Church, Shimoga. The official inauguration was performed by Fr. Joseph Cheeran, the CML Karnataka State Director. Upon inauguration he emphasized the vital role of children and youth in carrying forward the missionary spirit of the Church.Fr. Subin Kalayamkandathi, Director of CML Bhadravathi diocese, Fr. Saneesh Puthanparambil, Youth Director Belthangady diocese, Fr. Abraham Areeparambil, forane vicar also participated in the program. 

A major highlight of the inauguration was the formal induction of fifth-standard students into the Cherupushpa Mission League. Upon receiving their official membership, the young newcomers pledged to actively participate in the upcoming initiatives and missionary journey.

The event also witnessed a strong and spirited turnout of animators representing various parishes across the diocese, reflecting a deep, collective commitment to a vibrant and collaborative activity year ahead.
