The Diocesan Commission for Education successfully organized its Annual General Body Meeting for Headmasters and Managers today, June 26, 2026, at the Bodhana Pastoral Centre. The event, which ran from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm, brought together educational leaders and administrators to discuss orientation strategies and future directions for regional education.  

The program commenced with a solemn prayer song, setting a collaborative and reflective tone for the day's proceedings. Following the invocation, Fr. Sajeesh Thrikkodanmalil, Secretary of the Commission for Education, delivered the welcome address, warmly greeting the attendees and outlining the objectives of the gathering.  

A major highlight of the meeting was the orientation session led by His Excellency Mar Joseph Arumachadath, Bishop of Bhadravathi, who provided words of orientation to inspire the educators and managers in their ongoing mission.  

The main session of the day was conducted by the designated resource person, Rev. Dr. Francis Assisi Almeida, Secretary of the Karnataka Regional Commission for Education (KRCE). Dr. Almeida, who also serves as the animator for the Diocesan Commission for Education, shared invaluable insights and guidance on contemporary educational management and leadership.  

The event concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the organizers, speakers, and all participating headmasters and managers for their dedication to advancing education within the diocese.
